This energy bill analysis procedure is based on a unique set of data that includes monthly natural gas and electric usage data and information on the size and age of about 9000 Colorado homes.
2. Get a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Inspection. This inspection begins with a top-to-bottom visual and diagnostic home energy inspection by a specially-trained contractor using state-of-the-art equipment. The contractor will also perform a series of diagnostic tests, including:
- Air infiltration testing
- Duct leakage testing
- Combustion safety testing
